The Battle for Men’s Souls is Raging!
By the time the Civil War was over, six hundred thousand men laid dead. That would equate to six million men today. These were real men with real families. Today our nation is again fighting an internal war, one that makes the devastation that took place in the 1860s pale by comparison. This battle is raging out of control in neighborhoods across America, your neighborhood.
Think for a moment about the casualties taking place on your street, where you work even in your church. Men leave, women weep. A little 12-year-old girl prays “God, why is my daddy always so angry?” This is a real battle. These also are real men with real families.
The American family is in deep crisis, it is in a battle. And it's not because of women and it's not because of children. The American family is in crisis because a lot of men are in a lot of trouble. The conclusion is inescapable. Men have become one of our largest neglected people groups.
When you look at the church do you see men leading powerful transformed lives?
Though there are inspiring exceptions. Most men lead tepid, lukewarm somewhat defeated lives. You see, Evangelism Without Discipleship Is Just Plain Cruel. Jesus never said, “Go into all the world and Make Converts!” He said, “Go and Make Disciples.” Becoming Fishers of Men was never supposed to be a Catch & Release program. We need to disciple the men in our churches and communities.
That is the Goal and Purpose of Man In The Mirror. Churches Don't Have To Go It Alone. We’re here to assist pastors and leaders to disciple the men in their church and community. To inspire the men to lead powerful lives for Christ, to become Responsible Citizens, Godly Fathers & Husbands providing for their families, and develop as Spiritual Leaders. If you are a pastor or church leader I’d love the opportunity to meet with you over coffee to discuss your vision for your church and how we can help you accomplish it.
The Battle For Men’s Souls Is Raging!
Together, This is a Battle We Can Win.
We Cannot … We Must Not … and By God's Grace – We Will Not Fail.
